Are you struggling to get to know your audience better? Are you willing to lead change within your organization? And would you like to connect with professionals like yourself from all over Europe facing the same audience challenges as you?
YES!
If you can answer ‘YES’ to 1 or more of these questions, we would love for you to take part in this 2nd edition of the ADESTE+ Summer School on Audience Development in Rijeka in September. At the first summer school in Lisbon, it was widely agreed, that cultural institutions need to change their ways if they are serious about fostering cultural democracy and accessibility for all. But how do we do this in a way, that resonates with the audience? And who is the audience really? This is what we attempt to answer together in the ADESTE+ programme, and your voice and experience will be highly valued. Here you have all information to apply.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE, REALLY?
During the three days of the Rijeka Summer School in September 2020, participants will be introduced to various external and internal aspects of audience engagement and organizational change. Following the summer school, there will be a European Conference open to all professionals, focusing on current challenges and perspectives of participation in culture.
HANDS-ON APPROACH
The ADESTE+ Rijeka Summer School fosters a hands-on approach, which introduces participants to the overall conceptual and theoretical framework of audience development and invites you to engage proactively with other organizations, practitioners and experts.
DESIGN YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY
As a participant you will be able to create your own knowledge and participation path, choosing activities and themes and participating in different laboratories, debates, lectures, discussions, workshops according to your individual interests and needs.
At this point, you are probably asking:

How much do I need to pay?

What are the criteria to participate?
While the summer school is free of charge, we have a limited capacity for participants. We therefore ask you to fill out the online application including a CV and motivation letter. The European conference is open to the public and requires only online registration.
Why do I have to sign up now already?
