European Conference -2nd episode: A new vision for culture? Integrity, direction and relevance – LongTable – Parallel session 2

There is a need to build a new vision for culture. A fundamental issue to work on this new vision is to reflect on the role of cultural institutions in this particular pandemic situation.
A large range of cultural institutions understand participation as education, and when they talk about participatory projects they really speak about educational projects. However, cultural institutions need to look at participation on a wider sense, taking into account the different ways in which cultural participation is happening now.
